In December, I got a random Myspace message from a local video producer who wanted to use a track from my 2003 album Self Realization for a piece he was working on. Felicia Pearson (Snoop from HBO’s the Wire) had written a memoir (Grace After Midnight) and the publisher wanted a promo video to use online for the book. I linked up with the producer, he showed me the piece, we signed some papers, and here it is.
